Hello twitfight loving tweeps, here is today's post:
Twitter as we all know is addictive, most of us who live on there have
become its loyal towns men also known as tweeps. Your TL is like your
street where you get to see other people do what they
normally do, your
profile page is your neighborhood map, your user name is your address
and your mentions are those clique meetings that other people see you
at. Every twitter user also known as a tweep has an identity, the @
symbol at the beginning of your user name let's you rent your own little
corner in this big town. Now you have been hearing the term twitfight,
but what does it actually mean?
From my managing and administrative experience on twitter, a twitfight is a visible
misunderstanding between two or more twitter user names. During the
period of a twitfight, tweets are exchanged in between mentions and the
following power of the parties involved will eventually determine the
popularity of the twitfight. In simple terms, a twitfight is a quarrel
that goes down between people who live on twitter. This virtual world
becomes so real when it begins to garner attention from random tweeps,
you get to feel some emotion and sometimes you'll be forced unknowingly
to choose a side on an issue that has nothing to do with you. Its not so
complicated because. There are no law firms involved, no police, only
wanna be gang stars. No one has a reason to call the cops, or the FBI or
get a life insurance policy as a result, or maybe they do.
The human being loves to have fun, we love to see people compete. We
love to watch twitfights as they unfold on our TL the same way we love
to watch wrestling matches at the Olympic games on the TV...we love them
for the same reason, its mere entertainment.
